2、 Test methods: Neutral salt spray test (NSS test), salt spray test (SS test), acetate salt spray test (ASS test), copper accelerated acetate salt spray test (CASS test) and other salt spray test methods;
3、 Box material:
1. The box and inner liner are made of imported PVC high-strength corrosion-resistant plastic board, with a smooth and flat surface, and are resistant to aging and corrosion; Easy to clean and leak free;
2. The box cover is made of imported PVC transparent plastic plate, which is convenient for observing the test condition of the test sample during testing. The box cover and box body are sealed with water to prevent salt spray leakage;
3. Design a super large saltwater tank to prevent testing interruptions due to a lack of saltwater;
4、 Spray system:
1. spray adopts tower spray (the height of tower tip can be adjusted), guided salt spray, fine mist particles, natural sedimentation, salt free crystallization of nozzle, and adjustable sedimentation amount;
2. The spray gas is subject to two-stage pressure stabilization and regulation, and the oil pollution is filtered and the gas is humidified and preheated at the same time;
3. The storage of atomized saltwater is built-in and concealed, with a large storage capacity, and the saltwater is equipped with a preheating function;
4. Install quartz salt water filter elements before salt water atomization to prevent nozzle impurities from blocking and terminating the test;
5、 Equipment usage conditions:
1. Environmental temperature: 5 ℃~+28 ℃ (average temperature within 24 hours ≤ 28 ℃)
2. Environmental humidity: ≤ 85%R.H
3. The machine should be placed 80 centimeters in front, back, left, and right, and no objects should be placed;
4. Air source: Air compressor (provided by the customer or purchased by the manufacturer)
5. Purified water (2-3 barrels)
6. Industrial salt (sodium chloride): Mixing ratio with purified water 1:19
6、 Solution preparation for salt spray test:
(1) Solution ratio of neutral salt spray test NSS
1. Prepare sodium chloride solution. Mix 50g of sodium chloride per 1L of distilled water (or purified water), with a concentration of 50g/L ± 5g/L, and stir until the sodium chloride * dissolves;
2. Use an acidimeter to measure the pH value of sodium chloride solution to make it between 6.4-7.0 (so that the pH value of spray solution collected during the test is between 6.5-7.2). Generally, it is sufficient to directly dissolve sodium chloride with distilled water or purified water without adjusting the pH value. The pH value can be adjusted with sodium hydroxide and glacial acetic acid. A small amount of sodium hydroxide or glacial acetic acid can cause significant changes in the pH value of the solution: sodium hydroxide increases the pH value, while glacial acetic acid decreases it.
(2) Solution ratio of acetic acid salt spray test AASS
1. Prepare sodium chloride solution with the same concentration as neutral salt spray test NSS;
2. Add a small amount of glacial acetic acid into the sodium chloride solution, stir it evenly, and measure the pH value of the solution with an acidimeter until it is between 3.0-3.1 (make the pH value of the spray solution collected during the test between 3.1-3.3).
(3) Solution ratio of copper accelerated acetic acid salt spray test CASS
1. Prepare sodium chloride solution with the same concentration as neutral salt spray test NSS;
2. Add copper chloride to the sodium chloride solution at a concentration of 0.26g/L ± 0.02g/L (i.e. 0.205g/L ± 0.015g/L anhydrous copper chloride);
3. Stir until sodium chloride and copper chloride * dissolve;
4. Add a small amount of glacial acetic acid into the sodium chloride solution, stir it evenly, and measure the pH value of the solution with an acidimeter until it is between 3.0-3.1 (make the pH value of the spray solution collected during the test between 3.1-3.3).
